Age: Looks to be in his late 40s or early 50s.
Appearance: Dark hair gone mostly grey, pulled back in a pony-tail. He looks like an aging hippy, usually wearing linen shirts, jeans, and work boots or tevas depending on the season.
Background: Baird moved to Sanctuary in the late seventies. He owned an operated a head shop, which failed; a coffee house, which failed; a new age book store, which failed; a used book store, which failed; and a second run theatre that became a revival house in the mid 80s. That's been doing well. He has poetry readings, lectures, and retrospective movie festivals there.
Abilities: Baird is actually not too bad a business man, but he isn't very good and reacting to changes in his target audience, luckily he finally latched onto an idea that is fairly timeless. He's human with just enough mystical training through his various activities to allow him to respond well to the wellspring of positive energy that is the Rialto. He'll age more slowly and heal quicker, while he is a part of the Rialto scene, as it were.
