Drue Foster

CHARACTER NAME: Drue Foster (NPC)

WRITER: W. Olivia (Nici)

EMAIL: nicirace@aol.com

CHARACTER AGE: 39

NATURE: Human

DESCRIPTION:

Drue is 5'6'' with curly shoulder length hair that has never been the same color for more that 6 months. Currently, it's dyed a deep auburn. Her eyes, which are her best feature are large and light brown. Not typically pretty, she's learned to live with her looks. Her medium tone skin is flawless, thanks in part to her spa membership, and her body is an aerobicized six 6. Her nose is a bit too long, her jawline perhaps to narrow, but her overall personality makes you forget or overlook what on someone else would be considered flaws.

She dresses primarily in the staple of the New York City wardrobe, black, mostly short skirt suits or pant suits and she favours brightly colored scarves to offset them and distinctive silver or platinum jewelry.

She always wears Chanel Christalle, her favorite scent.

PERSONALITY:

She's devoted most of her life to getting ahead in the business world and now that she has a modicum of room to relax, so to speak, she realizes just how much she's given up for her goals. She is lonely, but doesn't know the first thing about the dating game. Most of the time she manages to convince herself that this is okay. She has a brash straight forwardness that to some is off putting; to others, it's just what they'd require in a agent. She is also extremely loyal.

ABILITIES:

None, save quick wit and intelligence.

HISTORY:

Drue grew up in an average middle class family with six brothers. She was a middle child and as a result, she's learned to pull no punches and has an extremely aggressive manner, although she's excellent at hiding it when she needs to-a very shrewd personality. Feeling overshadowed by her brothers, she felt compelled to strive for success. She graduated High School at 16, college at 20 with a degree in business and moved from her small upstate city to New York City soon after. She worked for various art and media agencies, smartly saved as much money as she could, investing it wisely, and managed to open her own agency by 29.

She caters strictly to art and media (print photographers) clients and her agency is popular for its personal touch and the interest it takes in helping their clients secure the funds they've earned, by having an accountant on staff and hiring fund managers for their financial portfolios when requested-all for a nice 15% commission fee based on the over all quarterly earnings of each client.

Raghnall was one of her first clients when she opened her agency. The fact that he was willing to trust a new agency and his talent has made him one of her favorite clients. Although they've never met face to face, she considers him, despite his elusive manner, to be a friend as well as a client.
