Age: 39
Character: Edward (Eddy) Calhoun
Age: 28
Type: werewolf, alpha (NPC)
Appearance: Eddy works in construction and has the sterotypical physique.
He stands at 6'1", 215 pounds. His shortish hair (nearly always looks like
he just got up, standing at every angle imaginable)is light brown. Eyes
are brown, with laugh wrinkles at the corners. Nicely angular features.
Abilities/Weaknesses: typical Alpha werewolf. Can maintain a humanoid
form for extended periods without changing fully, but would have to change
if he did that on the day of the full moon.
Personality: Eddy is quite congenial, which is a bit at odds with his
role as second to the Jarl of the Sanctuary Wolf Pack. He can get exciteable
at times, enthusiasm outweighing common sense. But in a fight, he's good
to have at your back and is loyal to Em and the Pack.
History: Eddy was born and raised in Sanctuary. He was infected with the
virus on his 20th birthday. He got it from a blind date. They had sex and
in the throws of passion, his date partially turned and raked his back.
The next month he ended up a member of the Sanctuary pack. He got his role
of second by default. After the end of the Rat/Wolf war, there were only
10 alphas left and he was the strongest next to Em, their new Jarl. He
took up the position reluctantly, but also as a way of saying to his
unaccepting family(especially his father who seemed so disappointed in him)
that he could be somebody. The position has come to represent his status
in life and assures him he's not worthless.
As an aside, Eddy would like to get out of construction and into
custom furniture making...he built Em's cabinets in her den and kitchen,
and also has carved several freeflowing pieces of sculpture that he would
like to show if he could work up the confidence to approach an art gallery.
Currently, Eddy's position in the pack is threatened by another
alpha pack member, Cally, whom he has begun to see as more than a rival.
