Nature: witch, half fey
Description: petite, 5'4", violet eyes, short (think Winona Ryder from Alien 4) silver hair, usually wears Jnco's (or other baggy pants) with tank tops or t-shirts, although there are some surprises in her wardrobe.
Personality: Usually carefree and fun-loving, but she can grow a short fuse at warpspeed! She is somewhat afraid of intimate relationships (friend or otherwise) as a previous hurt has yet to heal. When dealing with authority figures, she can get an attitude, and is often sarcastic (read: smartass).
Special Talents/Abilities: Kerrie's mother, although having a knowledge of herbs and ritual, was not a "witch" persay-she had an innate magical ability which could be used once channeled through music. As far as she knew, this particular ability ran in the lines of some of the less mundane Welsh families, and so named her daughter from their mythology. Kerrie also has this ability, and is experimenting with it. She sings, plays the guitar, and the flute. What she does not yet know is that she doesn't need the aide of live or recorded music, as long as she can "hear" it in her mind. She picked up Wicca through books and experimentation.
Background Info: Kerrie was born in Scotland, to Catherine Kinross. Her father was a stranger (and fey), and not much is known about him. He courted her mother, and disappeared after her pregnancy was discovered. After her birth, mother and child moved to New York. When Kerrie was nine, her mother was killed in a mugging. Kerrie was then bounced around several orphanages and foster homes. A "troubled child" to her social worker and HRS, she ran away several times, and lived on the streets for a while. This combined with her budding powers made for an unhappy childhood. She became involved in the underground house music scene, as the raves that were held augmented her bardic powers. Not to mention the availability of drugs. She isn't an addict, but does enjoy the recreational use of several drugs, mainly for ritualistic, magical, or mind expanding purposes. After a bad relationship with a psychotic boyfriend, she has just moved to Sanctuary. She has found a cheap studio apartment downtown, and has enrolled at the community college for next semester.
She knows about the existence of underground societies of supernatural beings, but prefers not to involve herself. Politics isn't fun! However her growing powers are beginning to attracting attention.
