Weaknesses: typical vampire weaknesses, Phil also starts degenerating when nervous or upset.

History: Phil was turned in his mid-40s by an obnoxious vampire that wanted to keep Phil for a lifetime of consistent accounting, and padding the books, etc. He figured he could control his get more easily than dealing with humans. So Phil was turned against his will six years before the civil rights for the dead came into effect. He was with his Master sixteen years until the Master, a LotL for a midsized area decided to skim profits from not just his people, but to cheat the Council as well. This might have been overlooked but for the fact that he was also getting in tight with a branch of the mob. So he was eliminated.

Lee was the Enforcer who did the job. Phil was so grateful to be free, he offered his services to Lee. He followed Lee back to Nebraska where he worked for several supernatural and not so supernatural clients. Doing well for himself and inspired by Lee's example of mingling with the human population socially, Phil started getting out and met a werewolf, Martha Noland, a widow with 2 daughters, ages 4 and 6. Martha had been a werewolf for a year when she met Phil. Her husband had died in the incident that infected her with the virus. The two hit it off. Several years later, they were married by a JP.

Phil has come to Sanctuary at Lee's request to deal with the books. He received the electronic records while in Nebraska. Phil found lots of interesting bookkeeping in those files. He's in Sanctuary to look over the books and handle the finances of the new LotL. Martha and the girls will join him in the summer, after the school year, as well as during Christmas and spring breaks. Lee has set him up in an apartment in the vampire district until Martha can join him and find a nice little house for the girls.
