Sean Callahan

WRITER: Drew Shiel <aka Gothalker

EMAIL: anvar@maths.tcd.ie/gothwalk@starflung.com

AGE: 22

NAME: Sean Callahan

CHARACTER'S AGE: 23

NATURE: Human.

DESCRIPTION: Sean is about 5'10", has sandy blond hair, which he wears at shoulder length, usually tied back, and blue eyes. He sometimes forgets to shave for days at a time, but is generally clean-shaven (or at least, not bearded...) He is lightly built, and usually wears dark colors, although not black as such, in case he's mistaken for a Goth. He has a full length deep gray trench coat, which he wears most of the time, and is otherwise usually clad in dark jeans and a gray T-shirt. He wears woolen sweaters in extreme cold weather.

PERSONALITY: Sean is patient with most people, although if they don't share his interest in magic, or can't talk computers, he's likely to remain quiet. He is fascinated with magic, and more or less continuously annoyed that he can't use any worth speaking of - he can dowse water, weakly, and that's about the extent of his abilities. He is straight, but shy around girls, and has only had one relationship worth speaking of, which ended when the girl left to marry another man.

ABILITIES: Expert computer user, programmer, and hacker. He writes several computer languages as though he was born to them, and earns a good income through freelance programming. He has very little in the way of magical or supernatural ability - he can dowse weakly, and that's it.

He has an excellent theoretical grasp of magic. He has no combat training, and has never been in a fight. He speaks Gaelic, and some French.

HISTORY: Sean was born and raised in Ireland. He attended Trinity College for four years, studying a two-honor course in Magic and Computing, from which he graduated with compensated honors. He had heard of Sanctuary via the 'net and newsgroups, and moved there in the hopes that living in such a magic saturated area would help him to gain some powers.
