Age: 32

Character:  Templeton Jones

Character Age: 29

Nature: Were-rat (alpha male - protector/enforcer type)

Description: With 235 pounds of well-toned muscles on a 6' 5" frame, Templeton Jones makes an imposing first impression. Both his skin and eye color reflects a dark brown. He currently shaves his head bald, except for a trimmed goatee. His facial features can vary by the extremes of his moods. When he's happy, his eyes shine softly, his eyebrows are relaxed, and his mouth curves wide in a smile. When he's angry, his eyes pierce darkly, his eyebrows contort into one jutting ridge, and his mouth curls back visciously. Mostly, he prefers to wear sweats and loose fitting casual clothing, although he loves to dress to the nines when the occasion calls for it.

Personality: Templeton Jones (or T-Bone, as his friends call him) is mostly a good-natured, easy-going, fun-loving guy. He is very friendly and jovial to most everyone he meets and is well liked by most people. He treats everyone as a friend until proven otherwise. However, he is also very loyal, protective, and quick to action. It takes a lot to provoke him personally, but he will jump to defend a friend or nest mate with the slightest of provocations. He can be cold, calculating, and  ruthless when necessary, but will turn right back into a big teddy bear when the necessity passes.

Abilities:  Typical were powers. Typical were weaknesses.

History:  He was born and raised in Bogalusa, Louisiana, by his mother. After high school, he accepted a football scholarship to the University of Maine where he played Defensive End. During the end of his junior season in 1989, he badly injured his knee. The team trainer mistakenly reused a needle tainted with the lycanthropy virus to give Templeton a cortizone shot. Although his knee healed quickly, his full-blown contraction of lycanthropy prevented him from playing football again. The next semester, he became overly aggressive in his amorous advances toward a young co-ed. His former coach made an arrangement with the irate father and school administration, so no charges would be filed. However, that meant leaving his friends in Orono, Maine. He wandered for a while, traveling from town to town, nest to nest. He learned about his affliction and became accustomed to it. Templeton always craved acceptance and companionship, but he soon came to desire stability and a nest to call his own. Some of the were-rats he talked with mentioned Sanctuary, so he set off to check it out.
